Resurrection of Peace Ministries

For several years, Resurrection of Peace (or ROP) was not only a Ministry but a Church as well. We worshiped in a Condo complex clubhouse. It provided all that we needed for services and even used the pool for baptisms. It was a good, central location and was affordable. I am not sure exactly what happened but those that arranged the leasing of the clubhouse suddenly decided that we were no longer allowed to use the building. They cleared out all of the furniture, piano, and everything else. They even threw away the Lord's Table that was used for Communion. In trying to find out why, I always hit a stone wall. The initial reaction was anger but through God, that anger turned to forgiveness and remains that. Whatever the reason or reasons, God will deal with them in His way and it will be just.

All of that above was said that to say this; the initial call from God for Resurrection of Peace was to start and build a Church Ministry that would be a starting point for revival not just with our congregation but for others to come, receive a renewing of the commitment they had made to God through Jesus and then return to where they came. They would take with them the refreshing they had gained worshiping at Resurrection of Peace and start a revival in their own Church from the inside out. They may have to spend a few services at Resurrection of Peace or a few months but they would be there as long as needed. There would also be others that would come to ROP and stay to be a part of the teaching and nurturing of those that came looking for a place to refresh, renew, and revive the salvation that they received from Jesus. Either way, all would be welcomed, regardless of history or denominational background.

ROP as a Church ceased services in July 26, 2009. We believe that it is now time to refresh, renew, and revive the calling the was given for ROP. We have been voicing our prayers that God would direct us as to how and where to do what we feel that He has called us to do. We also need the people that He has called to be a part of ROP. Those people will be the ones the Holy Spirit will direct to ROP. They will be from all backgrounds, ages, and races. They will be both men and women. If, in reading this, you feel a tug at your heart to be a part of ROP locally or at long distance, please contact us and we will keep you up to date on our progress.

This will be a wonderful spiritual experience for all that take part and will send fertile seeds everywhere. Think about it. Seek the Lord about it. Yield to what He tells you. I pray it is to join us.
